福田啓人/Hiroto Fukuda

1973年、神奈川県横浜生まれ。父の後悔するなという遺言を切っ掛けに写真家を志す。

四年間の沖縄県石垣島での撮影を経て、現在はタンチョウを撮影するため北海道釧路市在住。著書に「カワセミ ある日カワセミに出会いました」「カンムリワシ 守るべきもの、石垣島の白い天使」「アカショウビン 琉球の紅」がある。共に雷鳥社発刊

Born in Yokohama in 1973. Fukuda became interested in kingfishers and began photographing them while working for a company. Subsequently, however, his father lost his battle with cancer. His last words led Fukuda to pursue a career as a professional photographer.
Fukuda left the company and entered Tokyo Shashin Gakuen to learn the basics of photography. Since graduation, he has been active as a freelance nature photographer. Currently, Fukuda lives in Kushiro-shi, Hokkaido, to concentrate on photographing Japanese cranes throughout the year.
